Take and use the Quern Game Guide as you will, as is - 110 Pages, over 180 screenshots and 5600 words. I’ve spend many many hours in Quern, exploring all of its nooks and corners, and observing the culture that shaped it, completing Quern six times. This increases game play bringing you back through parts of the world and is realistic in a world such as Quern. You may need to use items and knowledge from previously solved puzzles on new puzzles along your journey. I don’t think this game is well-known enough for me to assume you are all familiar with the story. But it’s such a nice, clean example that I hope by writing about it we might see how any story can be improved by examining how we present choices to a player. Remember, that Quern puzzles are cool because they may be related. Quern is hardly the only game in which the story’s payoff falls flat.
I encourage all players to explore Quern as much as they can first _before_ reviewing the Quern Game Guide, so they are familiar with the areas and puzzles.
